New Reader - Finer Precision (Fast) Keyboard Scrolling

EDIT: This appears to have been resolved as of now (Aug 9), as the reader now appears to use native browser scrolling (at least by default, looks like there's a toggle).

(My impression is that now that the changes are live, we should put comments on the redesign here instead of the beta thread.)

Now that I'm actually using it extensively, I'm having a quality-of-life problem with the new reader's keyboard controls.

Namely, on the faster scroll speeds, pressing the up/down arrows moves too far on the first tap (like, half of a page on "fast").

As a result precision positioning becomes impossible at anything but "slow" speed because every movement starts with a massive jump. This is a problem if, for instance, one wants a certain large panel to fill the screen near-exactly. (I didn't realize how often I did this sort of thing, until I couldn't / had to reach for the mouse to do it.)

I guess it's the same annoying function as I mentioned here: https://mangadex.org/thread/20789

@monkey123:

No, that's another problem—which I believe is a bug(?), so I didn't mention it here—where the right/left arrows appear go to the next image instead of to the next page, in the new reader. That's what you're experiencing, I believe?

Or, rereading your post... no, you're mostly talking about the scroll-past-end page-turning. That's not what I'm talking about either. Also, there's a toggle for that behavior, fortunately.

Whereas I'm talking about the behavior of the up/down arrows in particular. Which I believe aren't buggy—just perhaps not fully thought out...
