EDIT: This appears to have been resolved as of now (Aug 9), as the reader now appears to use native browser scrolling (at least by default, looks like there's a toggle).
(My impression is that now that the changes are live, we should put comments on the redesign here instead of the beta thread.)
Now that I'm actually using it extensively, I'm having a quality-of-life problem with the new reader's keyboard controls.
Namely, on the faster scroll speeds, pressing the up/down arrows moves too far on the first tap (like, half of a page on "fast").
As a result precision positioning becomes impossible at anything but "slow" speed because every movement starts with a massive jump. This is a problem if, for instance, one wants a certain large panel to fill the screen near-exactly. (I didn't realize how often I did this sort of thing, until I couldn't / had to reach for the mouse to do it.)
