I get that their organization is evil, but you're saying the boss just sent children to his brother for him to keep in his basement? Yeesh :worry:

If only that was the only issue.

  • On page 2 the guy is supposed to be saying a girl's beauty lies in those spots you can't normally see, which is referring to the toenails (and probably more given what we know about him). Yet here it sounds like he's referring to a location a woman is in.
  • On page 8 they all reply "it's okay" but that's a non sequitur to the question the man is asking, which is if they have to pee (he calls out their names but that's what he's asking of them). They're really saying "I'm okay" (don't need to pee)
  • On page 11 the kid says "toilet collection" which is a literal translation of トイレ回収 but the man's not literally collecting toilets, he's doing the rounds for when the kids have to do their business. Should have been translated it to something like "the next toilet hour"
  • On page 12 the kid only mentions there being frozen food but it's not clear in the translation why that's relevant (again because it was translated literally). He's saying there's frozen food on the receipt which the man wouldn't buy if the supermarket wasn't nearby, since it'd thaw otherwise.
  • On page 13 it's the classic "it's pitiful" as a translation for かわいそう when it really should be saying she feels bad for the girl.
  • On page 14 there's a gigantic mistake where the translator switched the conversation in panel 4 with the one in panel 5 so it's all mistranslated. Panel 4 bubble 1 says the food stinks, bubble 2 says it smells like armpit, bubble 3 says that sounds nasty. Then in panel 5 one kid says they want napolitan, etc. but instead he's talking about the place smelling like armpits.
  • On page 19 one bubble is randomly in third person. Should be "you're the only one left, Midori"
  • Again on page 19 a major nuance is missed. The man says he had to "force" Shiori to stop moving (動けなくなってもらった if you translate his accent), she didn't stop moving on her own (the implication being that he was really violent with her, which you can definitely tell from her broken glasses on the floor). The man then says "it hurts" but in relation to Shiori protesting against him assaulting her, and that's again not made clear in the translation. Should say something like "That hurt me, you know?" which then ties into the final sentence in that page, which is him saying Midori is a good girl and will stay put (unlike Shiori who protested)

And then there's just pretty rough/stiff English all around. It's clear they don't have a complete grasp of English and probably not Japanese given the 2 consecutive chapters where they mistranslated main character names.

Man I wish I had the free time to pick this up for you. I love this manga.
