@HaretaLeila Ya I get it but remember everything he does is because he lived in a whole different level so you cant expect him ti think like everyone else and what makes it worse is that he doesnt know how defrent he actually is he just thinks hes somewhat above average

If that was only the case, I would give him the benefit of the doubt. But he's constantly told, at least once every chapter, that he is beyond the level of ANYONE around....and he straight up ignores them. That's the major problem I have with this mc, being dense....and totally denying the facts that are pretty much slammed in your face is two very different things.

@SingLove I somewhat agree with your point, but this isn't his first time reincarnating, right? So he's probably affected by encounters during previous experiences.
Plus, everyone says he's spectacular, but they also say all these beasts are super rare, yet he encounters one every other episode.

Alternatively, maybe he denies it cause he just doesn't want people to think of him as special, even though he knows he can do more than the avg person of this time (thinking long-term, it's easier to get rid of all these mythical disasters in small village than have it become widespread/widely known then having to save everyone and become even more popular)?

I get what you're saying but think about it like this. You leave your home country and go overseas. The first person you befriend tells you that the things you do are pretty extraordinary and not commonly done there. You tell that person "Nah, this is normal. It should be no big deal even here". Every single person you meet afterwards also tells you the same thing, and yet you still blow them off telling them it's normal. Now, is that a smart thing to do? Even more so when you should have the life experience to know better? Would that not seem like you're just incredibly slow in the head? Would it not be easier to learn their level and stop going overboard? He has 2 previous lives of experiencing his actions making him stand out and yet it's like he's unable to draw even the tiniest of intellect from that.

As for the alternative, well just because you tell people you're not special doesn't mean they will suddenly see you as not being special when all your actions are to them special. It's just more idiocy.

And the idiots finally figured it out, too little too late. And that look on that brat girls face when she demanded an explanation, I know she didn't mean it like this but my head cannon is she thought "How could you make me eat at the same table as an unrelated filthy old man?"

Its a normal village hes only strong because in his previous life he was strong..,
It used to be a normal village. Until MC started teaching children to cast magic and otherwise raping common sense.

I did not live 2 lives, but I am more likely to conclude that the country I'm visiting has a habit of overpraising people.
Like Japanese feel the need to say "your Japanese language is so good!" to every visitor who tries to speak Japanese, even if their level is pretty low.

The butler and Org are the interesting bunch IMO, dunno much about the OP MC being interesting.

As soon as Celia and the lord look at their butler... :notlikethis:
