@Bladestone These events are narrated by Satoshi. After learning about all of this, probably when bringing her to the hospital, which is why he says that he "had no idea". I don't think it would make sense, neither if talking about the transplant because it's only one of the narrated events, nor about both diseases because in that case, no one else had "any idea" about her current condition.
Satoshi narrated everything up to chapter 3 at least, so I don't see why Rin would have narrated that one part. The flashback background is missing indeed, but I think it's a miss from the author. Rin is also shown to be pretty intense in her desire to go to school again, however it is shown two panels later that she does not have that kind of strength.
She is very weak when Satoshi visits her, presumably the day after the incident : it wouldn't make sense for him to wait a long time before visiting her. However she's been hospitalized for quite some time for her transplant, so if he went to visit her often (assuming the transplant was after their first time meeting), he shouldn't be too surprised to see her so weak.
Literally, it would be something like "Frequenting you would be fun for sure..." (without romantic meaning, at least in her case).
Thank you for your kind words. No problem, these chapters are honestly pretty time consuming but this is fun and very interesting.
I'm also worried I might have translated some things wrong or written things that made no sense, so talking about this might help me fix some mistakes or understand parts of the story better.
