When Kalos launched his coup d'etat, Remille managed to get away from the castle. She would've made it had she NOT try to kill the stable cleaner who witnessed her escape attempt (who also doesn't even know who she is). The stable cleaner actually had military training and took her down easily until Kalos' collaborators arrived to arrest her. He eventually got a significant position from Kalos, and wrote a book about this event.

Bombardment would be too imprecise. So far the japanese leadership have only attacked military infrastructure and avoided attacking civilian population centers and places of governmental control.
