Though I have no idea what the outcome of next chapter would be, a big-ass vessel with powerful guns is only an advantage if the enemy is just as big a target and no more nimble than they are. The smaller, streamlined vessels of the MIlishial Imperial Navy & Zeroth Magic Fleet could inflict significant damage on those large battleships, especially since their origin implies they may have magic augmenting those guns. Either way, the Gra Valkas Battleships would be inferior to modern Japanese ships.

Unless magic is involved and then all bets are off.

Look, I understand that everyone around them falls far short of being able to stand up to Gra Valkan industrial and military strength.
But until you can punch tunnels through space-time to go to other planets yourself, let alone other universes or doing it to entire goddamn continents at a time, I think it's better to at least consider the non-military applications of magic done by the locals who've dealt with the same thing at least twice in recorded history (Mu and Japan also being mechanical civilizations who got dropped onto this world)

theres 3 major continents in this isekai, west center and east

center continent, aka 1st Civilization Area (named millishient continent)
emor kingdom, dragonkin folks that did the future sight divination thing
milshial kingdom, the ones actually holding the conference and the ones about to be attacked at the end of the chapter

west continent, aka 2nd Civilization Area (named mu continent)
Mu kingdom, we know these guys right, they also border leifor
leifor & paganda, paganda killed gra valkas empire envoys so the gra valkas retaliated by destroying and occupying paganda then continued to destroy and occupy leifor

gra valkas to the west/left of mu continent
gra valkas, newly emerged isekaied country, a WW2 era level civilization that just got isekaied from another world called YGGD, very aggressive country that seems to be the bad guys this arc

east continent, aka 3rd Civilization Area (named philades continent)
former parpardia empire, that Japan won the war against and uis now rebuilding under the morals and leadership of our civilized ways

Japan is located even more east of the philades continent in the middle of nowhere kinda

I do wonder how far they got in WWII tech. If it's going to be a late game tech level, it's going to be interesting to see a mustang hold up against a modern jet. If not, they aren't going to have a fun time holding their defenses up as a lot of the fundamentals in advances in the modern war was forged in the blood soak fields of WWII.

There's also the advances in cold war but that's more of surveillance, intelligence and propaganda technology than warfare.

The Gra Valkans are bit spread out in their tech development. Their primary carrier-based fighter is essentially the Zero from the beginning of WW2, but they have proximity fuzes which are a mid-war development that got their first combat kills in January 1943. But then again, the designs they have are IJA and IJN, so no Shermans, Panzers, or T-34's for them.
However, as the war turns against them in Leifor, they start to deploy late-war and experimental Imperial Japanese designs, like a super-heavy bomber that was supposed to be the Japanese answer to the B-29; something strange because they didn't seem capable of having made that rapid of a development in such a short period of time, noted to be suspicious by the Japanese characters who learned of it.

I couldn't find the Zipang scene where the Mirai fires an ASROC, the American sub's sonar operator says that he hears a torpedo in the water WITH SONAR, and the captain says "That's impossible, not even the British have...", and then everyone onboard starts to hear the homing sonar pings from the fast approaching torpedo. But that's essentially what the Gra Valkan submariners have to face.
