Are you FUCKING serious right now? So an adventurer that was antagonistic, violent and then murderous to you and your all like "UWU I need to give your sword back cause I feel bad"
I'm getting fed up with this kind of overly obsequious MC.
That guy was a douche who started a fight. There is absolutely no reason at all to feel guilty about damaging his sword. The very same sword he was trying to use to kill the MC.
This feels like the MC has such an inferiority complex that he's ok with the whole world trying to kill him. His former team. This random jerk. And apparently his prospective trainer.

That's common in japanese characters, with their society being very formal on apologies and hierarchy, but transposing that to pure fantasy characters (as opposed to isekai'ed characters) makes for truly improbable characters. Scratch that: impossible characters. With such a wimpy attitude, this MC should have died years ago given the world he lives in, even much more so given his occupation as an adventurer. It's not like a monster would have mercy on him for being self-deprecating and apologetic.

This series isn't getting better.
Honestly as long as the MC isn't misunderstanding his own strength I'm willing to give the series SO much goddamn slack just for that, plus it looks like the love interest will be coming around to hers too.
Anyone else? Who cares, the MC will clobber them.

Doing pullups off of a weapon you killed a dragon with is pretty hardcore.

Hope snu snu joins the team as their frontliner, though.

He saw that the big girl could bend back the sword, and was carrryign a big ass axe, and somhow he tought she could be a good sword trainer.
People joke sometimes about AI generated scripts coming close to real autors, but this mangaka is trying hard to bridge the gap
I'm not 100% about this but I think it might be a simple case of not understanding the nuances between the languages, it probably might be more correct to have it translated to "teach me the way of the sword" which in reality means "teach me how to fight in armed combat", it doesn't mean sword literally (well, it used to from the beginning but that hasn't been true for many many many decades)
