I, for one, enjoy stupid pointless ecchi scenes. But using it as a lead-in to accidentally breaking something like that takes a spot in my top ten dumbest manga moments. Like, really? You couldn't think of a single more believable way for this to go down?
Reading the chapter, I was thinking about how devious it would be to give us a few arcs with this party learning to rely on each other and opening up but then have one of them turn out to actually secretly be a traitorous asshole and just dash the hopes of everyone else, really go full drama/tragedy, leave them insanely paranoid of each other for another sixty chapters.
Now I'm wondering how he managed to write anything at all if this is how he wants to make important events happen. Next the guy's gonna slip and fall and end up with his head up the witch's skirt and his sword accidentally impaling the priest's heart.
No reason to drop it just for this though, it's only one stinky chapter out of twelve, and after ending on that shitty note the manga's quality can only go up, right?
