Author confirmed a while back that after the anime this was going to be the last volume, so we have maybe about 6-10 chapters left.

I mean, she is either super competent, or total goofball, or both, the fact that she came to negotiate already says something about her, maybe she finally noticed that amount of village dwellers and graduates keep going down
She also specifically calls out the fact Satoko don't know her face, which is either she forgot that she made an order to erase her sense of faces, which is possible if she is goofball, or we about to see another little conspiracy

It sounded like copypasta to me, and it turned out that it was, in fact, a tastefully modified meme. But that didn't make it any less funny. I always enjoy seeing scanlator comments and little touches like this, that indicate the scanlator is also having fun scanlating the series.

My favorite parts of this chapter were the suicide hotline, and the pursuer decked out in amusement park swag. Also, if you re-read the chapter, the pursuer is having fun in the background of almost every attraction that Satoko and Konoha visited.

Can you imagine if they kill themselves?

They not only lose on an income source (someone with more money than a "freelance hitman" probably would keep while not removing themselves from the platform, paying for their murder as vengeance), it likely is also worker retention (for the ones that perform well, at least - which would imply they are paying attention to Satoko to some degree).
