@Ochrolv
I know you weren't trying to nitpick my translation. Or at least, I assumed you weren't. I think(?) I asked for people to @me if they saw mistakes (or at least I *meant* to ask for that), so I actually appreciate it. I mean I appreciate all the people who read the manga in the first hour or two (and especially those who leave nice comments <3) but I'd still like to polish off my stuff for those who don't. In this chapter I had to read pg. 6 at least 3 times before I saw that I spelt piggy as pigggy. It's really helpful to have extra eyes! If you want me to take you out of the notes, I can do that.

@Meowmeowpeow
You know, I was thinking "why am I writing this page" and then I thought "so people remember I'm the one translating this". And one thing leads to another leads to Fort Minor, y'know lmao

Haha, actress girl's wonderfully stacked and our rotten saintess - is not.

@johnpoop2529 We all know this will end with hatesex between the hero and saintess.

Kind of weird that MC didn't kill that noble when his character, goal and everything else would lead us to believe that he would do that? Seems like this is that kind of manga

It feels to me like killing someone would be completely out of character for him. Killing someone would put him in far too many troublesome situations he clearly doesn't want to deal with. Remember, the MC isn't evil, he's just a scumbag of society (exactly the same as the female MC) who only cares about himself. His negative trait is that he's entirely selfish, not evil. He's isn't some murderer or thug, he only cares about his own personal comfort.

@KamiKira00 if he can solve the problem completely by killing someone without any severe consequences yeah he will probably want to do that (while the sword will prevent him from doing that), but the problem is he can't kill the noble without inviting more trouble like getting arrested by the country for murdering a noble.

Well eventhough she's trashy inside she's not greedy lol. She wants to marry the rich but being a queen is trouble. If villainesses were more like this maybe they could reach better endings

@Kuraiaku He can keep it a secret given that no one knows MC exists. So no one would know who killed that noble. On the other hand, given that he didn't kill him, now he has whole guild going after him and that noble.
It is definitely out of character of MC to create this mess for the sake of nothing when it can be completely avoided

Ugh. That cursed sword is seriously a pain in the ass. A hero complex is a perfect fit for it. It has no awareness of the damage and consequences it causes by trying to "save" people (the wrong way. They should have just turned in the evidence without giving their name and stopped getting involved with Silk anymore), and to top it off no care for it user's well being. It's just a bucket of trouble and hypocrisy. Half assed heroics for sake of saying you've "saved somehow" (despite knowing nothing) only makes things worse for all parties involved (as seen here). There's really nothing wrong with the MC having a healthy level of self-preservation, being selfish, and wanting a comfortable lifestyle (pretty much everyone does and that's how society functions). You can't condemn people for their thoughts or the reasons behind their actions (that'd be insane). A person that act nice, but is actually thinking of themself... Is a pretty standard person and isn't really doing anything wrong. A self claimed "hero" that's just fulfilling a half assed hero complex and doesn't actually have any awareness and doesn't care about the damage or conseques or even physical harm they cause to others, is an actual danger to society. I really hope that by the end of the sword gets what it deserves (hopefully smashed to pieces), and we don't get some bullshit like the perfectly okay Mc needing to learn how to be a genuine "good guy". Because somehow we can't just judge people's actions, but also should judge people's thoughts and conform those to standards we like too.

her not wanting to marry the prince even tho he fills all the requirements seems kinda sillly. I guess she owuld still have to do "annoying" saintess sstuff.
