Magary is also so much like alistar because she is basically copying him. she was initially fairly sweet hard working and liked by the villagers but then seemed to have gained a crush on alistar and then after finding out what he was really like she got mad and started acting like he does hence why she is SO similar to him.

He and Magary are mistaken to be in love with each other due to how close they are when the prince sees this he mistakes it as them being truely in love and wont take no for an answer gives up on magary and then says he will give them their wedding. needing to keep up appearances they kinda have to go through with it. in later side stories they're to refered to each other as fiances and then husband/wife by themselves and others. they seem to keep their saint/hero roles too throughout this.
