God, that talk they had outside... Chitoge apologizing for pretty much everything. She really does mean it, too. She'll still be a chunk of 'tsun', but she's shifted quite a bit towards the 'dere' end. And that face while she said 'Of course... I hate you.' Like, that smile just doesn't scream hate at all, and Raku is starting to realize it, it seems. That maybe she actually does like him.

And eventually he'll realize he likes her back.

Which makes it all the more depressing to see him and Kosaki getting along so well at the end of this chapter. And frustrating to see Ruri try to kick them in the ass, sometimes literally, to make progress that just feels like it'll amount to nothing when Raku finally realizes how he really feels about Chitoge.
