This was the first part of the first episode of the second season, with a later chapter titled 'Notice', I think, being the other half- the title for the second half of the episode was 'Please Notice', but I don't see a single chapter title rendered exactly like that here.

But yeah, Chitoge being particularly adorable, here. A girl coming to grips with the fact she's fallen in love. And with such an unlikely boy. But she's letting a lot more slide, and when she does have outbursts, she quickly cools off. This is the nature of her 'tsundere' at this stage.

And her realizing she doesn't necessarily want anything to change with them, other than hoping he'll fall in love with her, in turn. And, to be honest, he's already on the way to that. It's just that he's still clinging to his feelings for Kosaki as a vestige of his original dreams before Chitoge's arrival and still unconsciously shielding himself from his own growing feelings for Chitoge under a layer of obstinate behavior.

And yeah, this shit is part of why I hate Marika, too. She's such a disruptive presence for the legitimate relationship(s) in this story, and her psychotic level of obsession. She is absolutely terrifying. It's one thing to be so self-assured and aggressive in pursuit of your 'love', but she takes it to such an unhealthy level.

Also, Chitoge's hesitance to open the locket, because she really is afraid of finding out she isn't his 'promised girl' (Marika really does see right through her, here), especially when it is a one in three chance. It's far more likely for any of them to not be the one than otherwise. It'd be one thing if it was a coinflip, which would still have a serious amount of failure chance, but at least it would be a fair even split. Three ways and the chances of failure outweigh success two to one. Marika doesn't care, she's just so overconfident that she's the one, when I'm almost certain she isn't. I'm quite certain her key would break trying to open it even if there wasn't a problem with the mechanism.

Kosaki's curiosity is probably a measure of her thinking it's better chances than she has now if she just confessed, not realizing how good of chances she already does have, but shrinking with time the closer Raku is to realizing he actually does like Chitoge and not just, 'I don't hate you'...

And lastly, this smug m-f-er thinking he knows what Chitoge is thinking. Sure, it was indecisiveness, but it wasn't about food, you dense shit. But yeah, like I said, she lets it roll off her so much more readily than she used to, and so does he. It's cute, in its own way.
