I am slowly growing annoyed, feels so contrived how everyone acts as if they dislike the guy and nags for everything without considering his side, but totally ignore any good things he does. If they simply looked down on him then it would make sense if they were shocked when he does good stuff, but this just feels like author is intentionally writing it so ppl misunderstand him even if it needs to be forced.
