In an easy way, its like.. imagine magic power is hills/mountains etc. Obvious at a glance, hey, these guys are powerful. But if you were to see the largest mountain in the solar system, Olympus Mons, its SO MASSIVE if you were to see it, it just looks like a gently rising plain, you see no top, and for the most part it feels like you are just walking on a flat surface. Yet is it is the largest mounting to exist in our solar system.
Reference - its 22km high and 600 km wide. 3 times the height of everest and being as wide as FRANCE
