I've been laughing at "it's time to study" from the last chapter for the past two weeks. Everytime I thought about it it made me giggle to the point were I wasn't sad we missed an update bc I was so amused by that one line.
Keep up the good work.

I wish Haejoon would just tell Eunyung about the ghost, and how she's nice and means no harm. I know he has trauma regarding it but TRUST YOUR FRIEND!!!
I'm also quite please and surprised Eunyung hasn't blown up on Haejoon yet... If this were an earlier chapter he would've cursed Haejoon tf out because WHY ARE YOU MAKING HIM DO SO MUCH WORK! But I guess that's why he has such good grades...

I think this time around, Haejoon himself is unaware of the ghost. And the ghost seems to have two effects on Haejoon - he falls asleep pretty much immediately when he's around her, and she makes him hyperfocused about tutoring Eunyung. Guess she's possessing him, and she was a tutor in her life?

Wait, I don’t really get it… why would Miyung only show herself when Haejoon isn’t there?

I think Miyeong might only show up to look for Haejoon? She followed him to the house doorstep and only hangs by his level of the bunk bed.

I'm certain Haejoon sees her, I think he's using studies as a way to distract Eunyung from talking about her and an opportunity to come back see her. I'm not sure if it was explained earlier, but didn't Juwan say Haejoon had trouble sleeping in the new dorms? I think he might just feel more at ease with Miyeong, she's been around him forever after all.

What is with these bad takes/lack of reading? It's just... Failure to read.

Haejoon is almost explicitly able to see Miyeong/the ghost. The paneling from the previous chapters all but confirms that yes, he sees her and is glad to be able to see her.

And no, she doesn't show up only for Haejoon. Eunyung has very explicitly also seen her hanging from that bunk bed, hence why we literally read him say that he sees the ghost. He says it. She is visible. Read the words in the comic.

Like, holy crap, reading comprehension.

She doesn't only show herself when Haejoon isn't there. She is still there even when Haejoon is there. Look back at the previous chapter, two back, where Haejoon, Juwan, and Eunyung are in the room. Haejoon sees Miyeong and then falls asleep because it's familiar and comforting to him.

Three comments here solved by reading...

I am glad you have your solid theory going on, but thank you for being condescending about it
And I elaborated on exactly what that meant when I wrote the rest of my comment. We DO literally see Haejoon's perspective. We see that he does see her.

Let me give you a counter example. Eunyung does say, out loud and in this chapter, that there's a ghost in his room. If I follow how you write, he could just be lying and trying to get attention. That's the kind of thing you justify. You're probably going to say no, you don't justify that. I response, I say Haejoon does see Miyeong, and the evidence is very clear.

---

I'll admit I was too condescending. I'll fully grant that and apologize. I'm still standing by the rest of what I said, though, that it was still readily apparent from the chapters.

Haejoon does see the ghost, his just pretending to ignore it. I'm like 99% sure this is Miyeong, thos ghost whose been watching over him since he was a baby. Which is why I think it's so easy for Haejoon to not freak out around her, because she's a ghost that brings him great comfort.
In an earlier chapter she tried to follow him out, but couldn't leave for whatever reason, and we also know this was Haejoon's old room. I think the reason why Miyeong can't leave, and why Eunyung can see her probably have something to do with the talasman.

IMO there really isn't any reason to believe this isn't Miyeong, since no other ghost are present. Ghosts only appear in the building when there's less than three people living there, and the ghost looks exactly like Miyeong, who has been a constant presence in the story. I think Haejoon is just being stubborn, and doing things his own way like he usually does, not really considering Eunyung's feelings. Because Haejoon knows Miyeong isn't bad, but doesn't seem to get that Eunyung couldn't know that and would rightfully be freaked out over her.

What if Miyeong can't leave the dorm because it's still a place that Haejoon sees as home? She left and followed Haejoon from his original home and to the dorm. Seeing as the time he spent in the dorm was still special to him and he doesn't enjoy the new dorms and often finds himself unable to sleep well, it's not home to him. And she specifically takes habit in room 202.

Eunyung who if you can't read the context clue OR what he's explicitly has said, he thinks of the dorms as his home. It's possibly the only place where he considers home AND is the most comfortable. Room 202 is the room he shared with Haejoon. And we see that after he leaves the house he lived in, he chose again to live in room 202.

This establishes room 202's importance. So my theory is, either Miyeong is staying in 202 because it's important to Haejoon and possibly she stays in room 202 to look over Eunyung. Which they have a complicated relationship, but at the end of the day you can say that both Haejoon and Eunyung care for each other, in their own fucked up little ways.
