i was like wooah ok um is this her???
SO THERES SEVERAL OPTIONS
1. that IS her and (since we know she can be possessive) she actually wants him to. like. die. but probssss not because uh. even though shes possessive i don't think that she would. yknow. encourage him to die.
2. it is an evil spirit that is trying to kill him like in the house arc and is using his grief to be blinded
or 3. which is, IMO, the most probable which is this is his own internal struggle and this is actually a convo between himself and he sortof is like. this is like a coping mechanism to sort through his thoughts and grief.
and you could see his vivid flashbacks where he saw her hit by the car, he heard her voice before he even stepped in the house, and he probs fainted my his intense emotion and stuff and his consciences is like weighing out whether he should even go on or not.
I'm uncomfortable with the idea that she really IS the mom causeeee i don't think that she would want him to die. like that's his MOM we're talking about. even though she can be possessive or no boundaries i don't think that she would straight up convince him to die.
so uhh yeah um. yeah
