I know she's depressed but drinking and smoking with complete strangers? Not to mention the guy that invited her is sus, he walked straight into her home and started hitting himself, clearly off.
Also, why reach out to that guy for help, just because he left his number. There's probably so many other certified people she could have went to she's not stupid. Even the person that drives her car would have been a better option.

Not that it makes it any better, but she wasn't drinking and smoking with complete strangers, she was drinking with them. Once she got to the point where she couldn't make rational decisions any more, they basically forced the marijuana onto her. It wasn't a choice she made going into it. Again, the choice to go into it in the first place wasn't a great one, but she is not the only one bearing responsibility here.
