Author is doing everything in her power to NOT get these 2 together. We are 116 chapters into this shit and Friendship marriage is the best we can do....Say Wallahi please.

Also we gotta address the constant tantrums. They're getting old man, 95% of the 2 recent chapters are just her crying like a child (she's pushing 30 btw). And she wonders why ppl constantly leave her, maybe throwing a tantrum and being hella self-deprecating is the reason ya know. God damn

When people are born they only need affection from their parents, at ~Kindergarden age they start to need more than their parents and start to make friends, this need increases slowly until they reach adulthood (I say affection but they basically just need something that proves that they deserve to live/have a reason to stay alive/something that gives them a purpose).

Noa never got any affection from her parents, which is why she's mentally stuck at acting like a small child, she uses her work as a substitute for affection but it's not enough, which is why she also has the Idol/Haru, Negi and Rihito, Rihito is the biggest contributer of the three from what I've seen.

This need for affection makes her super clingy but she knows from experience that people don't like that which causes them to leave, so she's terrified of people leaving her which causes her instantly assume they will and spiral out of control unless they disprove her at all times.

The lack of affection also gives her a lack of self worth so she thinks other people deserve happiness more than her and tries to break the relationship off for their sake when she starts spiraling and assuming the worst.

She's aware that her childishness, lack of self worth and clingyness make people leave her but can't really fix that until she gets enough affection to grow


TL;DR: Her parents didnt show her enough love growing up
