Oh wow damn there's a lot of upset people here lol. Okay so. First off. She was drunk. Sleep deprived. And stressed and worried about the idea of Rihito getting together with someone else. THAT on top of her personality is the context to her being like this. NOT just her usual personality, even Rihito acknowledges this isnt how bad she normally is. And even then she acknolwedges she is in the wrong and has never let these issues of hers get to the point of hurting Rihito, she even hesitates with the hug despite wanting it really badly since a long time. Was what she said too much? Absolutely. Does this mean this is a "0 progress bad manga evil abusive woman booo"? No. There's been pretty good progress over time, I am sure the author is cooking here. No this isn't a realistic representation of anything. No the author is not saying this is good or desireable. Nor is it enabling anything. Just take context in consideration before reaching a conclusion.

No but seriously, why not? If she were a 1 to 1 copy of noa (not likely but for argument's sake lets pretend) you can be pretty certain she is going to be ride or die with you. Not just loyal but eager to please and terrified of hurtin you.

Yes Noa obviously has issues, but out of all the menhera women ive seen in fiction and, sadly, irl she has a better foundation to build a long lasting relationship than most "healthy" people out there.

author didnt forget dude, the story just developed into a new extreme asking noa "what will you do if rihito gets married" this is plain the reaction she gives to that question, which even in the context of the story her own answer was "i want him to say that he loves me" and rihitos reaction was "thats too importants to just say it like that" and gave her a hug instead something that even gets told its special enough to him, this is as on the nose in progress as you could get, are people blind?

how is that not progress in her mental health, she thought everything would stay the same in her relationship with her friend, only to suddenly get told that the friend might eventually get nabbed to someone else's marriage, rihito is not doing anything fancy planning, he listened to all the crying she did and came up thinking "she wants some amount of confirmation to our relationship but i really dont wanna say "i love you"" so he drunk himself and went with a hug, since to him this is as close as he is currently in his relationship with noa

Noa is exactly that type of women that could be hated easily.
Just look closer, Noa's tricks are the same which toxic women usually use in relationships. Especially romantic relationships.
I'd like to see how Noa grows, becomes better person for friendship, for loving. In current state she's just horrible... And Rihito can't fix her because it needs tremendous time and efforts. He is just not such person. He was even failing on stopping Noa's antics in this chapter while Noa just crossed all adequate limits and boundaries.

thats a terrible way to put it, the reason in the story why noa is hated its because of her personality, she isnt playing any tricks to try and get the favour of other people she gets with, and part of the point of her few relationships are those people understading that noa is insecure but also a good person that from their point of view is perfectly capable and undeserving of the loathing from herself and others

I'm with you there. there's been so little development regarding her character that at this point I'm starting to agree with the sister that she's just crazy clingy/annoying.

I totally understand why she has so many exes after reading this chapter for sure. She always thinks of the worse outcome possible and makes everything about herself. It's genuinely exhausting!
