Either I'm reading in too deep or you're missing the point. It could go either way. The way I see it though, this particular mangaka enjoys psychological stories and depictions of mental illness in the context of unhealthy intimacy and romance (judging by their previous work), and decided to use the format of a slice of life romcom to tell a light-hearted story about BPD, attachment, and codependency. You're free to not see what I'm seeing, but for me, there's too much evidence of a concerted attempt at depicting the realities of neurodivergence in working life and relationships for me to ignore.
