my nigga thats not how law works. Even if he was satan himself the law wouldn't just shrug it off because he was bad. 3 men, one of them armed, killed an armed man where they could have restrained him. Thats how law sees it.

They also mentioned that they smashed his hand which isn't a good look. Also, murderers wandering into town probably wouldn't look too good to prospective elementary school builders. Either way, I do agree they should've reported it, it would've made the whole situation much less complicated even if things backfired.

Fake news. Tabloid will pick it up and god knows what story would they run with. "Crazy villagers murder a parolee" , "Honest man fresh from prison murdered for his past". It's gonna affect everyone, including the mc family. Not everyone is gonna know the real truth. If this gets out, they social reputation are gone
