Just because you have a disclaimer about racist depictions does not make it not racist and not problematic. The character which they cited is quite known for insults about his appearance and how he's unattractive and incapable of receiving romantic attention from the opposite sex. Attempting to use that character to say that this depiction of African people is not racist does not give you an excuse. The fact that the author chose to depict African people looking that way is the problem. We live in a modern society and the author clearly has access to information about art styles that depict people that don't look like them in a better light and a more inclusive way and chose not to.They do indeed have every right to do that but it is your choice as a distributor to continue the proliferation of their work knowing that it has racist caricature art styles. They can do better you can do better.
