Mom: "Mitsuru, I’m going to change my last name because I’m getting a divorce."
Mitsuru: "Oh... I see... Playing the father card... But when things get tough, the bastard just runs away. That shows that, after all, someone like him couldn’t be trusted."

Mitsuru: "Oh, right! And Asuka? What happened with Asuka’s injury?"
Mom: "Your father... that person... says he’s going to demand compensation."

Mitsuru takes a seat.

Mom: "He had divorced, and custody was with his ex-wife... But when she passed away, he said he wanted to take her in. And I was the one who opposed it..."

I don't even know where to begin.
So, that's the idea of author to end mitsuru punishment arc. It's far too light I think too (he's not in jail to pay for what he has done to Asuza since he's has been caught with Imai. It's just another spit on the cf rn).

And yeah, if the author wasn't greedy, it'll be the end and the cf will be safe. The pacing is killing me.

But, on a good note, Asuka will escape this shit hole hell and leave the mc behind with his harem of mindbroken slave sex.

As you said, we'll have to wait another big thing connected to the cf. And he'll go on "I must save her, another antagonist is showing up. Time to make another brainrot plan".

Again, MC is given an out by Asuka just ejecting herself from the story, I’m sure we’ll see tearful goodbye though.

I guess within the narrative, rape bully’s punishment is as bad as it gets, maybe the only two women on earth he gave a shit about have forever disowned him, and he’s got a rap sheet that will more or less haunt him for the rest of his life. I am talking social death, he has no place in society. As long as he’s made to account for his rapes of Azusa…then it’s not the worst outcome.

Man, Sakuraba is gonna get away with it all of it isn’t he? Just rides off into the sunset with his demon and their rape harem. We live in a society.

Stepsister? Is the porn memes getting to everybody? It’s his Half-sister. I agree that this isn’t enough of a revenge. This guy doesn’t even know the kid he bullied was plowing his sister that he has overprotection feelings over. The girls he raped don’t get carthasis like raping him with a strap-on with HUGE, JAGGED bumps or stomping on his penis.

The cops “supposedly” got the laptop with the videos on it so why haven’t they gone over to speak/interview Azusa? Also why didn’t they subpoena the numbers from LongHair’s phone to investigate the people he called to see if they were involved with the trafficking also his text messages as well.

Once again you’re doing great with this analysis work - honestly it’s more enjoyable for me than the manga itself or even the TL team’s version. I’m mostly just here for the ride at this point since I thought the story was going to end… but I guess they’ve decided to milk it instead.

At first I thought the antagonist’s mom was cheating on his dad but it turns out the kid just saw her with someone else when he was little and/or the dad’s actually a deadbeat? I guess the author just wanted an excuse to introduce a “stepsister” for the antagonist… even though literally no one asked for that. Even the TL team mentioned something along those lines.

Exactly. Not only does the douche get to sleep with the stepsister and the MC’s childhood friend, but then he ends up in jail and his mom and sister leave him and we’re supposed to call that NTR? Really? Sure, the MC slept with the antagonist’s sisters, but he didn’t even have any real feelings for her so it doesn’t even count as proper NTR, let alone something impactful. And we even had the mom in the story, yet the author somehow wasted another golden opportunity.

Nice try, author, but I don’t think that’s enough of a punishment.

No, not in the slightest. I don’t think the author can salvage this mess anymore. He’ll probably just try to wrap it up here and move on to the next antagonist - the so-called “nice guy” who’s working with the female teacher targeting the childhood friend. It’s honestly wild how the author is so untalented that he can’t even milk the story properly.

I wanted to check the details myself, since I didn't remember them either. In chapter 39, while Mitsuru's stepfather is having sex with Mitsuru's mother, he asks her who is better: him or her ex-husband. He then tells her not to worry about the dead and to just answer. She replies that he's better. This confirms that Mitsuru's father is dead, and the reason Mitsuru hates his stepfather is that he witnessed the entire scene.
