The pacing might (and I stress only might) not have been as much an issue if every chapter got to be as long as chapter 1. That one got the benefit of the bonus length and was 39 pages. Which went to 32...26...22, and by chapter 5 he's down to 18 pages. It's a whole lot of start-stop-start again garbage.

You are right but it's still valid to say this dude is a loser. His 'revenge' has gone only up to kidnapping and starving... thats... it. Well, it is called NTR(evenge) the ntr of the ml comes first and the revenge comes never? I'm struggling to figure out where the author is going with what little plot he gave us and having a hard time remembering the characters much (if at all).

Oh, and the supposed plot point of the lipstick wasn't revealed. I guess the author thinks he'll keep that in their back pocket to pull out at some later date like "HAAA" ... but by then people will have moved on. I'm willing to give a story time to develop but when the writing is THIS bad ... makes me less patient.

I think you are onto something there. We may have just simply been tricked into reading a regular old NTR story where the protag always loses cause of ridiculously dumb decisions, and the villains get away with no repercussions.

Author may just be going about these themes in a different way than NTR hentai, but the same plot structures have remained. The hero is a cuck no matter what, and the villain always gets the last laugh.
