I would have preferred if this were an epilogue chapter made after the ending since I would have preferred something a bit more concrete with Tatara, but this wraps things up quite nicely.
Can't believe they decided to axe this however. What a shame really.

Disappointing is the only way to describe this ending, but it could have been worse.

So sad to see it go, so nice to have it while it lasted.

In honor of this manga, I'm adding Imperial making rules to my fantasy setting, and while imperials may not be as important in my setting as they were in this one, no one can object to having a living, breathing sword as their companion.

Well...
If you had to end it... I guess that's how you'd do it.
Rest in peace, you stupid ecchi manga. Thank you for the services you rendered.

Man I'm upset we didn't get more of the other girls waiting for him, and even then this still hurts

I didn't realize this completed!
It's so sad to see that it ends in our blacksmith's death... It's inevitable, and I guarantee he lived his life to the fullest after making the next holy sword, but still quite sad.

I agree it feels a bit short, rushed even. But I still feel this is a solid and satisfying ending. I will always prefer a series ending a little before it could’ve; vs a series that goes on for far too long. A little disappointment is far superior to beating a dead horse. I loved this series and hope to see more from the author in the future!
