Man, the premise is good. And at first I was glad that the MC could stand up (not be depressed, unlike some mainstream prologue storytelling) and choose to be adventurer, but it's still sad in the end with his love life.

@IamGian more like, the amount of stars and talents, I presume. I think the amount of stars can solely be parameter of someone's value (even tho it's gacha) for them rather than talents alone.
