With her side of the story, I really want the chillhood friend stay with the mc, but i can't stop thinking he not deserve her love. She puts so much of affection, trying to understand his things and without any excuse, a new girl with less than a year already poses in a picture IN THE BEACH and do other things, showing the friendship are evolving. I'm sooo confusing right now lol

Chapter 14 showed Arata's flashback, which, as people have already pointed out, shows the same story as this chapter. A simple way to address some of the complaints would have been to make Arata have flashbacks to the childhood friend earlier than chapter 14. Just make him remember something like "Tsuzuri wasn't so noisy." and "Tsuzuri never got so close to me." Make him remember that books that they enjoyed together when Nishino showed interest in books. He doesn't need to be regretting his past or anything like that. Just having Tsuzuri be part of the story from the protagonist's point of view would have reduced the whiplash from her sudden appearance. She wouldn't have even needed to be explicitly named in his internal monologue – just seeing her in his flashbacks would have been enough.

I get wanting to show things "from Tsuzuri's perspective" but I do agree that with the people saying we coudl have gotten more than rehash.

and you are correct, having her show up suddenly from this makes it feel more like cheap drama instead of something planned.

At one side, I want Nishino to win because their dynamic is good, but on the other side a part of me wants the childhood to win. But building all that with Nishino, and then suddenly introducing a childhood friend, you already she's going to lose.
