This is definitely realistic for a manga like that - a happy ending with no real obstacles, no realistic loss, just some bumps on the road.I guess we'll see whether I'm at all in the ballpark with any of that.
I'm just whining because (even if it could fk up sales/make too many people angry as you noticed) i kinda like stories that i can try to relate to, or judge based on my own life experiences - so even wacky over the top unrealistic idea can be (with some bending mental framework to accomodate story setting) believable. And i'm kinda sighing internally when i see i'll have to bend my mental framework again with "world is normal but suddenly every loser will get an angel to unconditionally love him".
And here we have, in other characters POV, some loser freak, that decided to wear basically a hazmat suit to pool cleaning in hot summer, hitting away hand of a popular, extrovert, good looking girl, that was obviously being nothing but nice and flirting with him (for who knows what reason too - as if loner losers with basically no redeeming qualities were ever popular). IDK about other people, but i'm pretty sure this wouldn't end too well in any of the schools i went to. Yep, i know MC is acting this way because of OCD, not many people would care IRL.
Whined enough so back to reading slop for me i guess
