I don't know what is going through that foreign prince's head, but instead of a big-ass jewel, he should've promised huge reforms to his country, plus freedom from most diplomatic/political stuff, if she so chooses. At minimum, just to level the playing field.

Our MC would have to move to a country where the ruling class would most likely be quite hostile towards her, either out of trying to keep the status quo, or just because she's not good enough in their eyes. It would be absolute torture.

The army ration bread tester earring guy is a lot better choice.

Well, they've need to make it last longer.....
It's hard to get another work of you to get adapted fully or just some ln promo, unless you're the most mainstream or famous author....

But then again, if the publisher want to stop, it will stop...

Shit's going down in this chapter. And by shit I mean Lan Hua. I didn't expect such a complete downfall chapter. It's almost as good as the last one, with her previous fiancé.

And also proposals. Two of them. That's the only way to get through to someone as single-minded as our heroine.

That's more progress than almost the entire rest of the manga combined. And most of what's excluded there is in the previously mentioned fiancé downfall chapter.

I don't dislike that arc, but it way worse than previous...
Princess, who seemed may be not smart, but at least not stupid, suddenly, out of nowhere, trying to beat servant of another royalty (wars happened for even smaller reasons) and get easily exposed with kidnapping (well, all readers understand from the beggining, but still). And after, even more suddenly, at the same moment, her brother confessed (timing can't be more shitty). Too rushed chapter.
