Are the simps even asking for it, considering how they were acting it seems more like she brainwashed them at the first possible moment, she tried to do the exact same shit to yutaka in the previous 2 chapters.

well she's here for one showing the succubus relationship in that world as they have shown the others, a new female character (again, not sure if actually neccesary at the moment, spider girl needed to have more chapters), but most of all for the plot to make Ogami more concious of the boy and show some backstory as they were classmates in middle school.

Because Japanese protagonists are complete timid cabbageheads when it comes to love. He can be the manliest fiery man on the baseball team, a commando in the JDF, or the greatest exorcist in the world but turns into a timid mouse when it comes to the girl he likes. If he even realizes he likes her.

Well in this case that's Tsumiki and she needs a kick up the backside for some progress with Yutaka.

I have faith this will not turn into an actual harem situation (I hate those manga too), or the usual triangle crap with them both hanging all over him while he is completely oblivious or scared of them both. I'm fine as long as he's just very aware of Tsumiki and completely shuts down Yumenaka, it's kind of funny. The author has so far avoided a lot of cliches, maybe because she's female writing for a male audience.

Also, this is the new 'Yeah, I'd win':
