My brother in christ, she has only existed for 6 chapters, not even 10. Stories are art, not a science where the author is chugging to hit their character arc quotas.
i was being hyperbolic what i mean is the longer this arc goes on the more i will dislike it because i don't want the cliche drawn out misunderstanding or love rival arcs. its already twice as long as the standard character arc and every subsequent chapter my mind keeps going "get on with it already."
we already know the outcome of all this. ako will find out either from yutaka or someone else that yutaka isn't her soulmate and the reason he isn't affected is because he loves Tsumiki. now you could offset this by being creative on HOW you get to that point give the audience something to speculate and wonder about but there is nothing to speculate about.
its just tredding the same ground as all the others. run away before the other person can tell you the truth, person takes it the wrong way, rinse repeat. i DO NOT want this manga to go down the same cliched route all the others do and this arc to me seems like its taking the first step to doing just that
