It is unfortunate that this won't be easily accessible for people who don't have a VPN but VIZ really needs to change that. I don't fault you guys for dropping this but I what I will miss most is the discussion from community on Mangadex. Another thing I will miss is the memes you guys do along with the quality of the translation when comparing the two. Appreciate all you that you've done & getting this on the map.

EDIT: By subpar licensing I meant the service, not the TL quality, I haven't read it yet but I do know that Viz as a service sucks for many reasons.

P.S.: If you're region locked by Viz, you can read the Viz chapters for free on aggregators without a VPN, they're not really hard to find. Just remember to use an adblocker.

Edit: I'm already seeing hints of this, so I'm going to nip this right in the bud — I have full faith in the official translator of Tsumiki for Viz. She's a wonderful TL who've I've worked with previously and I am extremely confident that the series is in good hands with her. I don't necessarily love Viz's style guide (when it comes to honourifics and localization of units for instance), but I rest easy knowing that this very tricky manga to translate has a great translator behind it, and so should you all.

You can find the chapters for free on OtherWebsites™. They're really not hard to find, don't require a VPN, and will be up the same day as Viz publishes them. I don't believe it's kosher to link or mention them directly here so I won't, but a quick google search should be enough. Chapter 52 has been up there since last Wednesday. If you use Mihon or something of the likes, you can just change your connector to point to those and forget about it.

If you do want to go the VPN route, please use a good and reputable paid VPN that's independently audited and keeps no logs, and connect to a node in Canada or the USA.
