The infamous controversy, yeah same here. People are making it a bigger deal than it has to be. But I actually discovered this manga by watching a video on the controversy , so I guess I’m glad it reached me because this manga is pretty good

She blushed, the guy was sucking on her neck while she was looking at the MC, it's not overanalyze it's clearly NTR bait, you don't even need to read too far into it to see that, many people read those romcom for the vanilla aspect, if they wanted NTR they would look for that.

And people saying "it's just for food" it would not be talked about ntr bait if was not for the page of her blushing, that is literally ntr bait which was unnecessarily for the manga, even more in chapter 3, not saying that people should drop this but if the author pushes this as a common troupe then it's just another shit romcom that creates drama with ntr baits here and there for people to talk about and try to defend this shit.

Watched recap of this manga on youtube, even smiled on the brazenness of the vampire dude, and "beta" behaviour of the MC. Read few newest chapters here cause they weren't in the recap and people were still complaining about NTR drama and shit and I didn't really understand what was that about.

Started reading from chapter one to see if recap didn't miss something, saw the 300+ comments on this chapter and now I understand. People complaining about this are like nijisisters doing list of "people to block/ban/ignore" cause they weren't ass licking their fav black company lol.

Looking back at this chapter and I don't see why people thought NTR when this came out. Tsumiki's reaction feels more like the embarrassment of MC seeing her neck vulnerable than her letting vamp suck her blood. Sure it has some of those vibes given the MCs reaction, but it's not even close to literal NTR.

You have to understand guys, some people got traumatized and are tried of NTRbait from other mangas, examples are like Dandadan. People don't want to waste their time reading that shit as soon as there is a small hint of ntrbait as possible.
Plus, this was just the 3rd chapter, first impressions are important and early chapters determines what the feel of what the manga is all about and what the author want the show to the readers, and having NTRbait on it's third chapter says that this is going to be what the manga is all about, a slice-of-life, beta MC, and ntrbait, JUST LIKE RENT A GIRLFRIEND.

I have read a lot of manga, and from my experience having cuck shit this early says a lot about the author.
And I still don't trust this manga, it might be a curve-ball and have a garbage ending like NTR or some shit, like Usagi Drop.
