I feel like Sengas entry was meant to be antagonistic to readers but it worked too well.
We were meant to dislike him for getting close to Tsimiki and flustering Yutaka so as to show his initial character, then some time passes and we see him again but he seems more chill and while we are still weary we at that point have some more understanding of how characters in the story are, the story is subtle with some characterization and so we aren't as hostile towards him. We get a look at his psyche in bits and pieces and are supposed to slowly figure things out about him:
He need's blood and is expected to drink from fellow students, however he knows that he can't drink too much since people have issues and eventually die if they lose too much. He does consider others.
He has a temptation ability which makes it easier to convince people to let him drink their blood, but when he drank from Tsumiki and Yutaka panicked he noted that Yutaka was jealous, we also never see him ask to drink Tsumikis blood again. So he knows that it's bad to drink from someone with a significant other or when someone likes them openly since it could lead to problems.
The ease with which his 'scent of temptation(TM)' nets him a harem of beautiful women means that he's more used to superficial relationships with others, any females are most likely just with him due to his powers and looks and any males are most likely just trying to get lucky with the females by association like in chapter 5. So he's distrustful of peoples intentions.
I'm not saying Senga is a bad or good character nor am I saying if the author is good or bad, I am merely giving my ideas of how I think Senga was supposed to be portrayed overall. I miss anything important?
