You know in hindsight, this makes sense. Alot of isekai series have the MC say "slavery bad" because they're from a world where slavery is labeled that way.

Even though the humans appear "good" and protagonist-like, being raised in a world where slavery doesn't have that label/stigma means they'd treat this situation as such. Like finding a lost dog or object.

Not a scene Ive seen until now, and it's really jarring.
