In qualification, if anyone says they drank raw milk as a kid and therefore raw milk is safe, you have to ask if they lived near a ranch or if they drank it anywhere near a ranch. It's safe within half an hour iirc. City kids should not drink raw milk.

Man's talking about UHT milk. It has that terrible UHT taste even today. Pasteurised milk is the middle ground and it tastes great, but it expires quickly.

This ain't the usual manga chapter recommending a $20 high quality tea over cheap regular tea, or some $80 sake over regular sake. Pasteurised milk only costs like $1 more, is available at large supermarkets, and tastes a lot better.

Just heat up the raw milk up to 75c for a minute or two before drinking or do it like the chapter mentioned.

It's good that the kid learns that milk can taste good, but it doesn't fix the problem that the school provided milk taste bad. Unless maybe Tomii tells his wife and calls the school to stop pestering the kid to drink it.

Personally, I just drink 2%. I’ve never had raw milk, nor would I.
