God, I mentioned it before but I wish someone wouls remind those two, heck itd even be satisfying if it was Yamaoka, that Yamaoka is like...90% of why those two were able to GET married in the first place. They are horrible friends to Kurita, and worse to him. They also have had almost none if actually zero interaction with Kinjo or Dan. For all they dont know, Dan could be abusive..or a American Psycho type. Kinjo could be more of a deadbeat privately than Yamaoka seemingly is.

Oh my god, theyre Patty and Selma's. Thats why their dynamic felt so familiar and grating. Yamaoka is Homer.

Mhm, they also act like yamaoka has never done anything to help them, but he has, countless times. Their characters have been turned into plot devices for this tiring bit and its sad

IMO, I think the worst thing about the love square in this manga isn't even about the dynamics between Kurita-Yamaoka-Dan-Kinjo, but how Noriko and Kinue became flanderized to become unbelievably toxic and interventionist to Kurita's personal matters, not even caring or respecting Kurita's own takes in this whole thing.

On the other hand, I checked a bit and am surprised that people actually use kangaroo meat in Japan as an alternative for dogs allergic to chicken and beef. And I thought this is like the thing that Japanese people only did some decades ago, but they actually still do it today.

Yamaoka really shouldn't have help those two ungrateful women. They seemed to forget that they only got married now thanks to his help. If it wasn't for him, they would probably remained single for the rest of their life (especially that former yankee).

So, that panel, I had to manually fix what Hanimura said after that because the MTL sometimes has trouble with nouns and pronouns.

I suppose I was a bit glad to see at least a modicum of self-awareness on Tabata's part briefly. That at least showed that Kariya might've been somewhat aware of how annoying they were being.
