Oof. Kurita take the wrong lesson here, I can feel it. She must have thought it means you need to cover up the taste of vegetable to get ultimate salad when Yuzan is certainly going to just use raw vegetable without anything since high quality ingredient should be able to overcome the inherent dislikeness of raw vegetable

If that's the takeaway Kurita got, are they going to actually cook the vegetables, then?
If so... did we all just forget the vegetable showdown where actually-good vegetables can be eaten raw just fine? Or the tomato chapter with that super duper special farming method that actually defeated Yuzan? Man oh man, and they just only fairly recently had to go re-analyse all their previous showdown menus too, when they had to convince Dan. Like I'm sure some time has passed, but still.
Must be another cop out "Woops we forgot" from Yamaoka's side so that Yuzan will win...again...

Kaibara calls Ohara a coward for not sharing the data when HE threw Ohara out of the gourmet club (And out of spite at that.) Yet he just..kind of gets what he wanted, no downsides.

Lowkey wouldve preferred if he didnt get the Rosanjin notes and had to kind of face the fact his work cant be finished this time because of his own deeds and personality.

I do hope he atleast genuinely loses because honestly, this favoritism from the author is so jarring it hurts.
