And then they should also sell their pickles as a side income, like hello? Did nobody think of that?
It seems to be an unusual product so if it tastes good, people might be interested in it out of curiosity.

They can't say a single nice thing to yamaoka and it has the opposite affect to being funny, it just feels very sad

To be fair, he’s kind of a dick in this chapter, and I didn’t think that other vendor punching him was being played for comedy (although Tabata punching him absolutely was).

It's very telling that they had to make Yamaoka exceptionally obnoxious this chapter in order for me to sort of understand where the ladies were coming from. Not that it's ever a justification, but man Yamaoka was at the worst I've seen him in a while.

Really? I thought this one was fairly mild and pretty par the course for Yamaoka. He's always going around saying "this is fake, that is fake" in famous restaurants, and he did the same kind of wailing when his grape juice was "stolen".

And there you can literally see that the difference is in the ladies and not him. Back then Tabata's reaction was to calmly tell him "stop crying, we'll ask Arakawa's mum for a new batch of juice".

Maybe you’re right. I don’t know, he just felt exceptionally whiny this chapter. Maybe it’s me?
