How ironic that you read manga when it's mainly based on Japanese culture without understanding how CONSERVATIVE Japanese culture is.... smh. My dude, I suggest you do research about how Japan sees divorce in their culture. It's no different than how other Asian cultures see it.

I'm not denying she fucked up. I think she is stupid and wrong. However, I'm not changing the fact that she has a lot going on. As my favourite term of words "I understand but don't agree." It's so pitiful how this is a "psychology" manga despite the vocal comments have black and white thinking. After all, it's obvious she doesn't have the best communication. She tried to explain to her mother how creepy the mom and daughter are to only have it shrugged off.

I don't think she was possessive. She admitted in her thinking she is co-dependent on him. She relied on him to solve all of her problems. Now she doesn't have him and making her own decisions.

Wonder how the Japanese see affair's then surely this deeply conservative country will see that just as bad. Wait she's still committing a social taboo? One that's way worse than divorce?? Colour me shocked that divorce is still the adult decision. You also fail to realise Japan has a relatively high divorce rate not as high as america but definitely not too the point where divorce is seen as filthy that's just a western perception, most stats back me up seeing as how it's still relatively high for an asian country compared to the rest of the continent with only korea and china having way more.

Because the mother and daughter are the psychopaths something everyone agrees with, it's redundant to call them out because the story is literally predicated on them being creepy evil and deranged. Surely you don't think anyone on their side or are you just retarded?

We literally had people here in those threads several chapters that straight up wrote that marrying woman with a kid is wrong move and that MC's family was right in trying criticizing him for that choice. If sister divorced her husband, she would be in exact same position as MC's wife, and she could expect same treatment from any potential boyfriend and his family.

Which is why all those stupidly conservative mores against divorcing and remarrying are so harmful, because they actually result in more cheating as less socially dangerous (since it's easier to hide, especially if common enough in society to be treated discreetly by others) replacement for divorce.

Its because she’s doing it halfheartedly, aka she wanted to stay with her current husband but wanted a side lover,she’s bound to lose both her husband and her lover if shit hits the fan.

If her lover is willing to be a responsible father then he wouldn’t have any problem with her divorcing her husband. If he wasn’t willing to take responsibility and doing things just for fun then the moment he discovered she was pregnant, he would instantly disappear. Then the current husband would leave her cheating ass alone too.

It’s ultimately a self destructive way of living.
