this cant be a former victim, the timeline just doesnt add up. the MC and the mom have been together for years, and touko and the MC have known each other since she was in middle school. i would estimate the MC and mom have been together for 4 years and touko and the MC have been acquainted for 2-3 years. it could be longer, up to 5 years (first year middle school, second year high school is aprox 5 years). theres just no way a 12 year old or younger touko was trying to have a baby (or scam or murder or sacrifice to satan, whatever the theories are) with this guy. i actually hate this development, guess we will see more next chapter.

bro she literally has flirted with the poor man countless times, asked maliciously if his sister was happy to have a baby, asked the father if he wanted to have a baby, and in the last chapter she literally went into the man's room in pajamas and whispered: 'we are your only family' in the guy's ear, how is she a good person?

I feel like I've been missing something for the past 20 chapters. Both the comments and the editor notes make Touko seem sinister, but isn't she just normal? Like, with her dad she's a little clingy and cloying, but that could just be her trying to make sure he feels welcomed into her family.

With her friends, wasn't she taking the actions that a good person would take? I.e. maybe she doesn't really personally care for this girl who's obsessed with her, but she knows a good person would help her out and not want her to be ostracized.

If anyone at all is scheming, it would be the mom I think - in which case Touko's mannerisms are learned and probably not an indication that she's also being conniving.

I feel like when I read this manga, it's a social experiment by the author to see if he can convince us a character is evil using only how he frames her in panels, editors notes, and the absence of an internal monologue.

The last time she did anything sinister was with the bully.
