it just never ends. We're 30 chapters in and name ONE THING that Touko or her mother has done that is actually bad. All they've done so far is try to help with family drama and be a loving family.

Exactly. Its just such a feel good manga. Her classmate was feeling lonely and isolated and Touko arranged it so she would have a caring adult in her life and wouldn't feel lonely again. People are really just looking for any excuse to try to ruin something wholesome because they are sad, bitter people.


Oh god I forgot about that. I really need an epilogue for that one with a "good end".

Its ok. The high blood sugar spike from the diabetes-causing sweetness in this manga just made you angry. I'm glad you've been able to come around and appreciate just how cute and wholesome this manga truly is.

But what if she seduced him and they banged but then he got weirded out by the idea of being with a mother and son and ran? If he hadn't touched her sexually would he comfortable and confident enough to grab her hands like that? It looked to me like they had already crossed the touching barrier and he was reasserting himself like "I was able to do this to you before so I'm going to do it again now"

If it were IRL, sure, but in this manga that would greatly diminish the entertainment value. We've all made it this far because we're craving more of this dark brand of entertainment. From the very start, this was not destined for a good/happy end. We are all here for the schemes and conspiracies. Allowing the chosen MC to leave and be happy will only bring this to an abrupt, boring end. If this is what you were really after, you should've dropped it already.

If you take this statement on its own, its sounds like he was able to slip from their snare and attempt to move on(which obviously failed since he came back). But knowing the Mom and Touko, they utterly ruined him, his relationships(friendly, professional and familial), his future prospects, isolated him from those who care about him, and ultimately mindbroke him as they further ensnared him as their prey, and with nothing left he's come back so that the destruction of his life wasn't without meaning.

I think in the context of the story, that line means he didn't have the resolve to sleep with his teenage step daughter

I'm going to guess that they accused him of doing (or attempting) the thing he wasn't willing to do as a reason for the divorce.

• They get a favorable divorce settlement because it is "his fault". (maybe even more so by building up the judge's bias by painting him as a scumbag.)
• He gets fired from his job because no school would to employ a sexual offender as a teacher.
• His family and friends want nothing do do with an alleged child predator.

They probably left him broke, jobless, and alone. With his reputation in shambles and no-one willing to employ or associate with him, the only way out of his predicament (outside of fleeing the country) is if they take him back.

Not only won't this happen because he has already been replaced, but also because they are too smart for that: taking him back would not only invalidate their claims against them through their actions, but also give him an opportunity to get close enough to gather evidence against them.
