Now I'm curious what's the endgame. She deleted the photo of the girl socialising with the man, yet she streams it for Insta?

Is she trying to help her? Because that clearly isn't so. I'm so damned confused.
I believe she just didn't want the video to be seen by others like imagine the mom sees the video and starts thinking that that's one of the men her daughter is screwing and recognizes him someplace. It just spews disaster so the safe play there would be to delete the video and as to why she sent the video to herself I think just for the satisfaction that he refused the other girl

Didn't she like share it to someone/herself or smtg like that, idk
In the first panel she's picking the video, in the second she sends it to herself (透桜子) and in the third one she's deleting it.

Also, regardless of how people react to the livestream, or how supportive they are after this, this is Japan we're talking about, so while MC decided not to twist the knife even further by making the Dad's video public (Especially because it would have affected him in one way or another) she still just fucked both of their lives really hard, in one way or another.

No wonder this chapter is called "Perfect Execution"

...it's "Perfect Execution", referring to how Touko's plan turned out.
oooor it's just bad writing is all
no, the daughter was getting the shit kicked out of her while crying and curled into a ball. she probably wasn't paying attention to/couldn't see the phone on the floor away from her while her mom was screaming at her and beating her. you not being able to infer things isn't bad writing.

Oh, you're right.
I was too concentrated on the entire situation that I read it as "Public Execution" because that's what it felt like, I'm dum.

I assume some people are going to give the girl support. Sure she loses her Mum, but I think she's better off without her. She's going to need a lot of therapy though.
Hopefully she'll learn to pick her battles better next time.

Maybe both. Helping her, and punish her by destroying her social life forcing her to change school.

Moral of the story: if a yandere gives you a warning, believe her.

I don't know why so many people think that the livestream will help her. Don't underestimate the societal pressure of having to maintain a good public image. Her mother is more concerned about her daughter's public image (and in turn her own because she is responsible for "raising" her) than her daughter herself. That, of course, causes self-worth issues and daughter tries to deal with that by getting the affection she doesn't get from her mother from her SNS in the form of likes and followers. The livestream shows her mother beating her, but she is not gonna beat her silently. She'll mention the condoms, she'll mention how she meets older men, true or not. She is going to be branded as a slut. Her followers will leave, write hate mail or tell her she should do it with them, her friends will stop interacting with her, possibly she will be bullied, her mother's opinion on her has hit rock-bottom and who knows? Maybe the public will see the mother's abuse as a one-time thing where she goes too far but ultimately had good intentions and just being worried about her and nothing will be done. But even if she gets taken away, she lost everything that was important to her.

I think some of you are overthinking it. She probably only deleted the video so that her dad doesn't get implicated, and the livestream is the nail on the coffin, i.e. not as help but to further condemn her.

Hopefully she doesn't go the "keep yourself safe" route. That would be a tragedy.

Please, Japanese school system thats typically filled with sociopathic kids and teachers, don't bully this girl more after she got beaten by her mom live to thousands of people.
