i wrote a theory here a while ago and i came back after stacking some chapters. i mean the theory still stands as of now since it hasn't been proven right nor wrong. However holy shit now i am expecting something even worse.
Now that the old "papa" is getting seriously involved im starting to think that the MC might get murdered or have murder attempted onto him by the old "papa". I mean he was talking about having "resolve" and that the MC didn't have said "resolve" and how he wants to "free" them.
We even got to see more of the manipulation that the daughter is capable of.
Then there is the uncertainty if the mother and daughter even like the MC. You see the mother may always ask him if he wants his own child and stuff, however she hasn't really said that she wants it herself. She is always asking the MC. The daughter is even worse because she asks MC all that weird stuff and then she shakes it off as a joke and later gives that creepy "look" just like her mother.
Even more weird is the situation with the flower rings. We see the daughter crush the flower ring that the old "papa" gave her. However we see that the old "papa" rescieved a brand new flower ring in the mail which he then placed beside another one that he already had on his table. So in theory the one who sent the new ring shold be the mother. I mean we got that flashback with her on the beach with an unknown figure and she was clearly in love. So assuming that the figure is the old "papa" then it makes sense.
I mean she still thinks about another man while being with MC, she and her daughter bought ice cream and left it on an empty seat saying "it wont be long papa" and just left it there, the mother excuses the cheating of the sister and both mother and daughter are still destroying MCs mental. Idk about yall but things aren't even the slightest in the favor of the MC.
This is what i like and hate about how the author writes this story. At one hand it keeps you reading and guessing and on the other hand it fills you with dread and you never know what to expect in the next chapter. At one point it feels peaceful and like everything will slowly get better, then in the next it all goes downhill for the MC.
Tbh atp MCs best bet is to get a divorce and marry his coworker since she left her relationship and is actually serious about wanting a kid and a good married life. They are also on good terms with each other and she seems to like him a bit.
