Man, seeing that Touko has sent multiple flower rings to her previous papa really bothered me. That's pretty much proof she is not actually interested in MC at all and has some insidious reason behind her behavior. This shit fills me with dread with every single panel. Thoughts, anyone?

Why do I always get this feeling of characters who are supposed to be the ones saying to the protagonists sth like "ok this is weird you should stop doing that" always fail at their task for being too dumb? I may be wrong but honestly happens often and it makes me mad, the evil characters could be stopped by being a normal person but no, they get away with it.

i wrote a theory here a while ago and i came back after stacking some chapters. i mean the theory still stands as of now since it hasn't been proven right nor wrong. However holy shit now i am expecting something even worse.

Now that the old "papa" is getting seriously involved im starting to think that the MC might get murdered or have murder attempted onto him by the old "papa". I mean he was talking about having "resolve" and that the MC didn't have said "resolve" and how he wants to "free" them.

We even got to see more of the manipulation that the daughter is capable of.
Then there is the uncertainty if the mother and daughter even like the MC. You see the mother may always ask him if he wants his own child and stuff, however she hasn't really said that she wants it herself. She is always asking the MC. The daughter is even worse because she asks MC all that weird stuff and then she shakes it off as a joke and later gives that creepy "look" just like her mother.

Even more weird is the situation with the flower rings. We see the daughter crush the flower ring that the old "papa" gave her. However we see that the old "papa" rescieved a brand new flower ring in the mail which he then placed beside another one that he already had on his table. So in theory the one who sent the new ring shold be the mother. I mean we got that flashback with her on the beach with an unknown figure and she was clearly in love. So assuming that the figure is the old "papa" then it makes sense.

I mean she still thinks about another man while being with MC, she and her daughter bought ice cream and left it on an empty seat saying "it wont be long papa" and just left it there, the mother excuses the cheating of the sister and both mother and daughter are still destroying MCs mental. Idk about yall but things aren't even the slightest in the favor of the MC.

This is what i like and hate about how the author writes this story. At one hand it keeps you reading and guessing and on the other hand it fills you with dread and you never know what to expect in the next chapter. At one point it feels peaceful and like everything will slowly get better, then in the next it all goes downhill for the MC.

Tbh atp MCs best bet is to get a divorce and marry his coworker since she left her relationship and is actually serious about wanting a kid and a good married life. They are also on good terms with each other and she seems to like him a bit.

Sometimes, some people want to marry the someone who fit their idea of a perfect half but in time, that person they married to change. "...after losing him" while the guy is right there might be the case.
Details that make me feel anxious: the wife who wears sad expression when she says "I already have someone i love", the daughter who askes weird questions out of nowhere and they exchange secret signals the moment the poor guy turns his back.

why is everyone so messed up in this manga, anyway. Here's what i thought, the daughter and the wife probably doesnt have any real feeling for the mc, and the mc purpose there is just trying to fill the void of the real father. The newly introduced dad is probably one of the victims of theirs, probably failed the test because he still drinks alcohol, and he said he resolved it by resisting it in the later chapter. All of those manipulation is probably to get the mc to be solely dependant on the new family, i'm sure that if the family gets a hold of the mc coworker she gon get knocked out of the page. So my theory is that, they're looking for a replacement of their perfect papa, since there's no picture of him anywhere in the house it's either he ran away after seeing how weird both of them have become, or he died. If he ran away it could explain why they had to make the mc dependant on them since who else is gonna choose. Now what i dont understand is, what's with the obsession with making new children? also why the subtle focus on the gender? i'm always curious about that, is the wife gonna commit incest if the daughter was born a man? Ngl maybe it's just me but i feel like the later half of the story get written everytime the author takes a shower. Oh i just realized maybe the obsession with kids is to tie him down even further to the family. God bless that mc man, poor guy jsut wanted a family, all im hoping for this is a happy ending for the mc. He's not even that bad of a dude tbf, he had to put everything aside for his family, and when he took the risk of accepting a single mother his family denies him and just mocks him constantly with the children topics, like what the fuck. Honestly what the fuck is going on in that world bro, everyone is so fucking weird and creepy, MAN NUKE THE WHOLE COUNTRY. 7/10
