The prince isn’t going to be king, his older brother is.If he really wants to protect his people, letting the prince stay and learn from him is probably the best option. If any nobles try to attack the village, including his own siblings, they would be putting the prince at risk and the king would have to get involved. Plus making the future king his friend would secure his place in the kingdom.
Royal/noble hostages are still a thing. The prince isn’t going to be king, his older brother is.
The irony of it being "Praise the Moon!" instead is still amusing.[I know its wrong body part, STILL]
It's the age-old trick that all good writers use. Stuck for a scene? Have ninja/pirates/monsters kick down the door. It always works, and you can always work out a good reason later on.The monsters in this story have awfully good timing.... They literally attack when they really need a show of power lmao
I agree, although I didn't like the implication this chapter that his older brother with water magic would harass him. He was the only person to really care for Van in his blood familyIf he really wants to protect his people, letting the prince stay and learn from him is probably the best option. Once yes but it literally happens every time, the villagers, panamera, now the king lol....It's the age-old trick that all good writers use. Stuck for a scene? Have ninja/pirates/monsters kick down the door. It always works, and you can always work out a good reason later on.
