What the fuck, this is so outside of the tone of the entire series so far.

It don’t hate though, but damn that was abrupt.

Actually, I was reflecting on it, and this series has really given a lot of moments of both deep perversion, disturbing form mutation, and also moments of profound danger from spirits.

In a way, it sort of captured the old horror and awe people held fairies and Kami and ghosts like this with, even worse when they like you: their attentions are fickle, but so are their moods, and when they love you, who knows what strange curses or forms can possess them. A nymph who is compelled to drain you, an animal form with bloodlust...
