@Doomroar Well Okusan isn't the most clever. And if she sticks to some diet that was perfectly ok to hold her weight before it might tip to weight-loss by just being pregnant (eating for two). To much loss is a stress signal and a miscarriage can eventually happen. So maybe author is setting this up. Or will make a chapter about what is healthy to do during prego time. It is after all slice of life with a woman who may not be the brightest star at the heavens.
