I wonder... Do people who couldn't swim have a hard time to "find the right balance" to stay buoyant? I mean, that's the first key, no?

When I first learned to swim, I would hold on to the edge of the pool, and kick my legs. I was told by my instructor to try to keep at least my feet above the water. Once I tried focusing on making my feets remain above the water, the rest of my legs, belly, and torso would follow suit. At that time, my body knows how it feels to be buoyant.

The next one is breathing. This one is easy. Again, hold the edge of the pool with both hands, then hold your breath under water for 5 seconds at first, then increase it with repetition. I think I can do 20-30 seconds when I was a kid. Right now, maybe I can do more.

Man, I won't write a comment just to show how I learned to swim. But the next one is to move on the water using floater. Then after you're good with that, now without the floater. Once you're comfortable with that too, it's time for form and technique.

Swimming is fun. It's so worthwhile. Maybe I'll go to swim this Sunday morning. 🤣
